We collaborated with Alice Boulanger and Laurent Noel at LIPM, and Adam Deutschbauer at LBNL to develop a RB-TnSeq library in Xanthomonas campestris. We identified genes that contribute to bacterial colonization and infection of cauliflower, including previously unknown genes. This research demonstrates the cooperative behavior of individual Xanthomonas campestris bacterium to facilitate host infection.
