The Lewis lab has received a second Chau Hoi Shuen Foundation Women in Science research grant to support the research of Dr. Yuan Chen in the Lewis lab. This award supports collaborative research between UC Berkeley labs and labs in China. In additional to supporting Yuan's research, the award will facilitate interactions with the lab of Dr. Weihua Tang, at the Shanghai Institute of Plant Physiology and Ecology, Chinese Academy of Science. We will focus on using Brachypodium as a model system for the study of plant disease and immunity in wheat. Please also see:
