Marlo received the prestigious NSF graduate research fellowship! The NSF GRFP provides three years of support for PhD studies. NSF received thousands of applications and awarded ~2000 fellowships.
Marlo also passed their qualifying exam, which focused on their proposed dissertation research and an outside research proposal.
