This fall, the Lewis lab welcomed new post-doc Mael Baudin, who did his PhD work on the symbiotic interaction between Medicago truncatula and Sinorhizobium meliloti at Paul Sabatier University and the Laboratoire des Interactions Plantes-Microorganismes in Toulouse. We also said our sad farewells to Greg Walker, who worked in our lab for the last two years, as he embarked on the next stage of his scientific career in graduate school at UC Davis in the Department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics.
