Jana's paper is now out in Plant Direct! In collaboration with Roberto de la Torre-Roche and Jason White at the Connecticut Experimental Station, we show that soil composition impacts the susceptibilty of plants to bacterial infection by P. syringae. This work points to the importance of environmental factors like soil in mediating host resistance.
